Sarah Leete

Born and bred on the Central Coast, Sarah Leete went Country, and now calls the small town of Baan Baa in the Narrabri Shire home. After winning The Moree Superstar in 2015, she attended The Academy of Country Music in Tamworth on a scholarship the following year. She was awarded a Young Regional Artist Scholarship to record her debut EP just 8 months later.

Sarah released her first single ‘Safe’ in September 2017 and followed with the release of her EP. The work was produced by Catherine Britt and released in November 2017.

She has toured extensively through regional Australia, on her ‘Central Australia Tour (2016 and 2018) and has headlined her EP release tour (2017/18) which concluded with her own show at the Tamworth Country Music Festival 2018.

2019 kicked off with her biggest Tamworth Country Music Festival to date, and has seen Sarah join The Viper Creek Band on some dates of their ‘Beautiful Destruction’ Album Launch Tour.

One of Australian Country Music’s most exciting new talents, with a sound described as “classic, comforting country at its best”, Sarah is now writing for her anticipated debut album.

“Sarah is different to all of the other current new acts coming onto the country music scene. She has strength and grit in her voice and songwriting that stands above the rest.” – Catherine Britt
