Fresh locally sourced food from Tamworth producers will be a feature of Artstate Tamworth. Delegates will find coffee and tea on arrival at Tamworth Town Hall for the two days of the Artstate Speakers program. Morning tea, lunches and afternoon tea will all be served in the foyer, and dietary requirements will be catered for if noted in your registration.
For those who can’t do without a serious caffeine fix, we will have a coffee van strategically placed outside the venue. We are also giving you plenty of time to explore food options (and to schedule those impromptu business meetings) with a two hour break between the end of the speakers program and before the arts program starts.
On the Artstate Tamworth opening night, delegates will be welcomed with a BBQ supplied by the Sunrise Rotary Club of Tamworth in Bicentennial Park.
Saturday 2 November | 7:00pm – 10:00pm
The Artstate Dinner will be held on the most spectacular site in Tamworth. This year, Artstate is holding the dinner in a marquee on the Oxley Hill Lookout with amazing views over Tamworth. You will arrive in time to enjoy a drink while watching a spectacular sunset over the distant mountain ranges, and listening to a story of the significance of this site for the local Kamilaroi people.
Enjoy your entrée before hearing from our special guest, the Hon. Don Harwin MLC, who will reveal where Artstate 2020 will be held! To continue the evening, you can rock on with cover band, Splashpool before heading back down the Hill for the last night of the Festival Club.
We will have a shuttle bus service leaving and returning to the Tamworth Town Hall to get you there and back safely.
Tickets to the Artstate Dinner will be an optional purchase as part of your conference registration, and will include all food, wine and entertainment.
More details about conference registration will be provided in the coming months – so watch this space!
